happy mother's day

his mother's day card for his mother: it's her (again) depicted.
he's got her smile right.

spent 3 hrs (only) cutting grass.

following conversations last week re: how the old man of this farm used to have things, we let our running ducks out the back door of their yard and into the wood so they could swim along the stream.
not quite sure why we hadn't considered this earlier.
they were VERY happy to be out on day release.

spent the rest of the day retouching (as usual).

maximum's chickenpox saga continues.
i am NOT itchy today.
