the tides of march

the tides of march

took the sons to 'tides' in deal.
a leisure centre with slides and a wave machine...with lots of fat women and hairy men, both with the worst tattoos EVA.

made me wish i didn't have any ink.

my favourite tattoos spotted today, on top of the usual bad kanji, british bulldogs and tribal nonsense were:

a guy with his (presumably?) winning lottery numbers on the back of his neck.
the same guy had '86' over his heart and the words 'you'll never walk alone' on his back.

a pretty 18yr old(ish) girl who had too much puppy fat and script on the back of her neck which read, 'ps. i love you'

there was a guy with 7 names on his back.
children, grandchildren, girlfriends...?

there was so much more.
but i've tried to erase them from my memory.

when i was in NY a while ago, me, heather and greg were talking about what a good opportunity there is for painless tattoo removalists.

tattoos weren't trendy when i started getting mine.
in fact, people (inc. my family) thought i was insane to get tattooed.

now it's been through cool and is endorsed by the world's worst morons.
like matt black cars.

hurumph.

regardless, my sons had a good time.
and i had a good time with my sons.

today mrs.perou had a conversation with maximum about high functioning autism and aspergers.
knowing the right way forward feels incredibly difficult.
just want my sons to be happy, healthy and confident in life: little else matters to me.
