star wars comes early to the st.nicholas parade round canterbury

z and mrs.perou walked in the parade waving octopus umbrellas and octopus on sticks 

(i didn't know st.nicholas was the patron saint of sea-farers)

me and maximum did some christmas shopping and dropped in and out of the parade, catching up for the service at the cathedral.
