RTT (rode to town)

rendezvoused with lucy

early dinner at 76 dean street

(where i complained about the air conditioning noises and the size of onglet)

to ENO for the anthony minghella version of madame butterfly

which was breath-taking: almost a sensory overload of spectacle and sound

i was teary-eyed by the end of it.

lucy's first opera.

it doesn't get better than this, i think.
