GREAT day to move house

1ft of deep snow and rising

borrowed lucy's jeep to get to new/old house wth z (perou-mobile is RWD only)

was amazed to be overtaken by wheel spinning 2WD transit van on back roads to faversham

no problems for jeep but other 2WD cars couldnt make it up hills and slipped off into verges.

first half of old house was delivered to new/old house

WOOOAHH: i must be tripping: i cant see my paws

there was debate about the removal trucks not being able to return to old house to collect sons' beds, dog, cat, etc...

led the forward party with z, spraying rock salt up the country lane and hill as we went

smaller removal trucks made it and we cleared out of old

we're IN

finally

and now we're in, we're not leaving

shutters down and hibernating

except for a little sojourn to our lovely local, opposite, for the best pie and chips in faversham

the 'carriage restaurant' is well worth a visit.

and they brought us out some welcome brownies and shortcakes
