remember rolan adams
in 1991, in my first year at photography college (PCL: the polytechnic of central london...when it WAS in central london, before it became the university of westminster, in harrow) i did three photo-stories.
i WISH i'd been encouraged to do more: i wish i had more archive to look back on 27 years later
with a little more encouragement in this direction my photography career might have been real different
although i recognise i still see the world in the same way with the same eye/s
here's the first of the three stories from 1991, scanned on an Epson V850 pro
this was the rolan adams demonstration, from when i used to go to ANL (Anti Nazi Leauge) rallies round about the time the BNP were active
very different times.
these pictures look so much more dated than i remember those times being...
