four days ago, z got accidentally hit in the face by a friend (of his)

three days ago, he woke up with a headache

which got worse

and worse

yesterday he went to the doctor who said it might be sinus related

last night z was in so much pain he was wailing and crying and it seemed to be getting worse

after some conversation with 111, they said 'go straight to jail hospital. do not pass go. do not collect £200'

11.30 on a saturday night, scooped up the youngest and hoofed it 12 miles over to ashford

SORRY ABOUT YOUR WALL

SORRY ABOUT YOUR WALL

we bloody LOVE the NHS and all the good, caring people working there

it's a ****ing disgrace how badly funded it is and how it's struggling to function

paediatric A&E was quite quiet

unlike adult A&E on a saturday night, with police and drunks and blood

z was easily fixed with the right amount of pain-killers

twas a sinus issue not a head injury issue (fortunately)

but then we had to wait 3 hours for a doctor to discharge him
