a tale of two hamiltons:

it started with a happy hamilton encounter: lord hamilton met me at sallies to oversee the purchase of the correct peroxide

it ended with a different kind of hamilton encounter

picked up a transit van

drove north with my favourite bulgarian (after uncle bulgaria) and greta

to photograph lewis hamilton again.

accidentally (honestly) stopped at one of my all-time favourite 'heading-north-country-pubs-for-lunch' pubs: the althorp coaching inn

later at mercedes HQ,

lewis started by asking me what i thought of the pictures on his instagram account.

'urm, i don't know: i don't follow you on instagram' i said almost awkwardly

lewis seemed surprised.

wanted to ask him what he thought of the pictures on my instagram?

decided not to.

on lewis' instagram there are lots of pictures of him

sometimes with his £1.6m zonda (car)

had another 'interesting' shoot

and had to clear my makeshift studio by 5.30pm for the mercedes yoga class who had booked the room.
