asbestos removal kent

we foolishly employed DDS environmental to remove the asbestos from our new/old house in kent

we are VERY unhappy about the way they conducted their business

and a subsequent asbestos survey has proved there is still asbestos where it should have been cleared

on DDS website they offer to leave their customers with peace of mind (not asbestos residue)

when i discussed this with tom worrall, estimator and quantity surveyor at DDS he said, "...our website isn't part of the contract and that's a subjective statement"

we do not have peace of mind

we still have pieces of asbestos

now i am in discussion with our solicitors and the asbestos licensing unit, part of the health and safety executive

what a pain in the ass

hopefully not a pain in the lungs in 20years when we get asbestosis.

i am frustrated by the pace of progress at new/old house

do i wish we had bought a smaller, less derelict house?

today yes

tomorrow maybe not

everyone says, 'it'll be great when it's done'

undoubtedly

but getting there is taking it's toll
