deliiiiiveryyyyy...
most of the day was spent with WEM doing their first training day for military doctors and medics
demonstrating the contents of the trauma boxes and teaching latest frontline medical (practical) techniques
when we went to leave the restaurant we ate lunch in, we weren't able to because we were underground and overground there was another air raid going on
we all have an air raid app on our phones now that go off daily telling us to 'take cover' and sound the 'all clear' when it is.
if we were further east in the country, there'd be no point to having an app because the bombardment is constant and there is no 'all clear' to sound
here's Luca delivering a 'trauma box' full of essential frontline meds and equipment to some soldiers heading back to the frontline
so far, World Extreme Medicine have raised over £1m and 100% of that money is spent on medicine and medical equipment
all of the logistical expenses of running these training courses and getting the meds to the right people in ukraine, are being covered by WEM
