and took a cheeky last peek at the Statue of Liberty and a look back at Manhattan from the Staten Island ferry

flew to San Francisco, getting stopped on the runway before take off for an hour and a half due to the (bad) weather

arrived late, picked up ridiculous monster truck from car rental (speaking as someone who is used to driving a Cadillac Escalade) and stopped at Jake's in the sea mist to catch up briefly with Jake, Zep and Madelyn

before checkin in at hotel in centre-ville where monster truck has to go in special (more expensive) parking due to its size

£75 a day

i notice i already have an 'ENGINE OIL LOW' warning on the truck which will need to be sorted in the morning :(
