messy bitch

spent all day photographing 'russell howard' at bigsky, doing promo for his next series.

russell was cool but HATED being photographed, more than anyone i've ever shot (in 15 years).

as puppy pants weren't in clara's assisting bag today, clara was made to make dempsey some sanitary wear out of bandages from the studio's first aid kit.

demsey spent the day humiliated and the studio floor stayed splatter-free.

should have driven straight to manchester after the shoot but 'due to current circumstances' cassie, clara and i found ourselves in the tv production offices watching some rough cuts from last week and discussing editorial content of future episodes, hate mail and fashion vs tv complications: 'we do things differently: we're not used to being treating like this etc...'
egos were stroked...more promises made.

the rough cuts look good though: much better than i had expected.
i've asked for some small changes: for my swearing to be bleeped out and for some of my more acerbic/ offensive comments to get lost in the edit.
i'm always going to be a mardy bastard when i'm tired and jet-lagged: beware.

it's a shame this tv stuff won't air till MUCH later this year: i'd like to be writing about what i was doing 'live': by the time it's aired, it'll be distant history for us.

AFTER the meeting, drove for 5 hours to manchester with clara and a truck full-o-camera gear.

stopping in the motorway services on the m1 to take a leak was a disgusting experience.
the smell in the gents was overpowering and the soundtrack was incredibly offensive.
humans are so foul: bring on the robots.

i think it should be law that people (men specifically) should have to wash their hands after going to the loo (wiping their asses / holding their dicks to piss etc...)
2/3rds of the men that were leaving the toilets at the same time as me didn't wash their hands.
one guy in particular who used a urinal and left wihtout soap or water was next beside me in M&S picking up packets of salad and putting them down again.
