went to the 'lounge on the farm' festival in canterbury, down the road.

we went the first year it was on, as guests of 'temper trap' who were playing a small tent there.

it was maximum's first gig and not knowing what to do at the end of each song, he waved at the band who he'd met just before and in return they'd point at him, sitting on my shoulders, and wave back.

remembered this with dougie (the lead singer of the temper trap) when i bumped into him at SH recently.

which is also when i asked 'how's the band going?'

and dougie replied, 'not bad: we supported the rolling stones in hyde park yesterday'

DOH

i digress.

the lounge on the farm was fairly do-do this year.

smaller but not cuter

we were there for a couple of hours only

the highlights of which were the kingswood raspberry cider

and

maximum and z both grazing their legs coming down the helter skelter and me insisting on their money back.

NEXT year glastonbury or latitude for all, for sure.
