left early for gatwick, in time for a 3hr delay

the lady at check in said 'where are you flying to today?'

'no idea', i said, genuinely

but i knew we were off to val d'sere skiing: me, mrs.perou and sons, ali and emma.

last time i went skiing i was kicking myself for not having my 'proper' camera with me.

somehow decided against it this trip too.

and now i'm regretting that.

expect some low resolution for the next 7 days.

not the right way to start 2015

but throwing myself down snow capped mountains on opiates and muscle relaxants so IS...

a big dump

apparently god did a big dump on the alps: 1m in the last 2 days

which is good for us and the throwing of ourselves down steep snow covered mountains

but bad for the 15,000 people stranded here yesterday

for us, it was a 2hr drive to gatwick; a 3hr delay; a 1hr flight and a 3hr coach ride with a load of toffs and puking babies.
