RIP lord beaulieu

RIP lord beaulieu

left the heavy hippie healing centre B&B in grastonbury (sic)

and drove to the new forest, in the rain

on the day that lord beaulieu died

i met him a couple of years ago when we were shooting in his grounds

we shared tea in his private quarters and he let us sleep in his 1950's, palm springs style beach house on his private beach

although he was quite frail, he had a twinkle in his eye and i remember him being quite cheeky

it was a short meeting but i liked him.

after the fair, walked through another bit of the forest

sharing space with two deer

i was in full camo and got close, quietly

nanaco was wearing a bin-bag poncho which was not quite stealth apparel

king arthur trail pt2

king arthur trail pt2

drove on to winchester great hall to see 'king arthur's round table'

so fake they know to put it in inverted commas

still 800yrs old

probably commissioned by king henry VIII who fancied himself as a descendent of arthur

looks a little like a walt disney prop

shame english yoot aren't more aware of our country's history.
