went to visit the prison (kennels) we're thinking of leaving mr.bunny in soon

i HATED it.

they are undoubtedly the best kennels in kent

but they're still kennels aka prison cells for dogs

took lucy and sons to a really weird, hillbillie event down a mile long, unmarked farm track near dover.

felt like we were going to an illegal dog fight or something else unpleasant

but it was to watch some stock car racing in the rain.

i guess i was expecting a demolition derby

or a least something that wasn't just cars driving round a muddy field

some gorgeous properties in dover but the whole place had a heavy, depressing vibe probably enhanced by the weather

hid from the later afternoon and rain watching 'southpaw' in bed with lucy: both of us choking up on a sunday afternoon.

then recovered watching 'carry on doctor' with the sons over ostrich steak dinner.
