it's ALMOST not worth talking about it

but let me vent:

BT sent me 23 consecutive, identical texts today telling me that someone would phone me in 5 minutes

then there was no phonecall.

an hour later i got an email and another text saying 'your phone line is ready'

i checked the phone line and it's still dead

it's like someone at BT is taking the piss but then i realise that EVERYBODY at BT is taking the piss.

i called BT who said they had no record of the emails and texts and as far as they were concerned, the phone was not fixed

i got 'cut off' and called back BT

this time they said the phone WAS fixed but there must be a fault on the line so they would raise the issue and send another engineer...on monday.

i can't believe they're still in business and with a monopoly on all phone lines.
