drove round in east kent circles taking sons to and from school / train station

in the evening, as was risking a fashion faux pas, i slipped in wet crocs on a high step into the garden

hitting my shin hard and grazing heavy along it.

haven't experienced pain quite as bad as that in as long as i can remember

thought i was going to faint

lucy didn't even look up from the celebrity gossip pages of the daily mail online

and told me to 'man up, drama queen'

until she saw my leg swelling up to the size and shade of a beaten mango.

took some heavy meds and passed out having weird dreams
