spent the morning sunbathing at the farm, in a t-shirt.
the clear blue skies and sunshine not quite in sync with news from the rest of the country: people snowed in and being air-lifted out of snow drifts by the army.
spoke to harry borden who was off sledging with his family after walking 4miles from a train station, back from a job in london town.
feel in some way i have failed my children in not providing thick snow for them to roll around in for days.
even though i know this slightly beyond my control.

2hrs later, i was wondering if this morning's sunbathing was in fact a figment of my imagination.
london was dark and cold.
retreated to SH for a 'development meeting' for exciting things which i do not care to discuss at this time.
drove back to farm in through heavy snow not settling.
