I used to have a playlist for my future funeral
copal
I gave up on 'slowdive' playing a live set after they reformed and started doing well again
after an elaborate service and horse drawn carriage: horses with black plumes processing slowly through my home-village, I wanted to be buried in the graveyard in the village I grew up in: Newick of East Sussex
but now...
when I'm dead I'm dead
my future funeral plans are that I'm simply (for a simple person) cremated and scattered at the quiet Cornish cove where we have spent some happy family times: where Lucy's dad is scattered and where she'll be scattered too
no playlist
no live band
no service even
but I hope there'll be some copal burning
I love this incense, that reminds us of happiest times in Mexico together
it's my second favourite smell,
after Lucy's skin
have you read, 'jitterbug perfume'?
