didn't sleep too good.
had 5 meetings accross NYC with about 15mins between each.
chicken ceaser salad with ms.hood at 'lucky strike' for lunch.
just back at the apartment to change before heading out for dinner at 'felix' my favourite french bistro and then we'll hit the planet magazine party with greg and heather.
work hard, play hard.
phoned the farm this afternoon and my dad answered cryptically: 'yes, everything's fine except for the man in green tending to my knee: ur...i've had a bit of an accident...'
while mrs.perou was out picking up maximum from school, my dad missed two steps going down to the kitchen from the kid's playroom and landed hard on his knee (on the stone floor)
an ambulance and ambulance men were in attendance.
when mrs.perou got home, she called me in the states to say she'd found my dad once more on the floor after he had collapsed trying to get to the toilet (post fall) and at that moment, my mum fell down the same steps.
these steps have been there for maybe 300 years and we've been living there for a few months so these coiincidental tumbles are concerning.
dad's in hospital now and enjoying a morphine drip.

mum is ok.
they can't be left alone those two...
they're actually at the farm to help out mrs.perou with the sons/chickens/dog/ducks/peahen and all.
i have suggested some hazard tape on the edge of the steps.
