resisted huge temptation to stop off at corvette garage at snodland on way home.
maximum's nails
despite being very tired, thought it was such a beautiful sunny day i'd accompany maximum on a long bike ride after he returned from school.
took stratford too and heading off over the fields got onto a track we'd never been down before and kept going.
casual fun ride ended up as a two hour, 5 mile cross country slog ending up in a (not) near village with a road ride home and a dog without a collar or lead about to have a heart attack who couldn't help exhaustedly staggering from one side of the road to the other.
walked through the village trying to keep my bike between stratford and the road.
eventually saw someone we knew (katie) coming towards us and managed to get a distress beacon out to mrs.perou to come and collect dog.
about 1 mile into the ride, maximum was saying his legs were aching.
my legs are like jelly now.
no idea what maximum's are like but at least he's got his nails done 'nice'.
dog has completely passed out and maximum is about to (very uncharacteristically) pass out too.
