fire'man' on call

fire'man' on call

rescue the dawg in the distance.

started the day by chainsawing apart one of 'our' trees that historically had fallen into a neighbour's (across the fields) garden.
which was harder than it should have been due to the well seasoned wood and my chainsaw's scary dislocation of it's chain mid cut.

had promised z a bike ride as he missed yesterday's adventure.
could have done without another bike ride personally.
thought stratford would be feeling the same but he couldn't be stopped.

my bike's seat seems to be made for someone with a different shaped bottom.

z has just learnt to ride bikes so wanted to go a long way.

mrs.perou waited in for the screed floor to be done and the ceiling to be plastered in the new shower-room.

the feet of mick

the feet of mick

our friends mick and helen (who DOES do nails but not like gary numan's wife gemma) were there too with their twin daughters.

mick was talking about his new work which sounds amazing: he's having his next show in sept.

his footwear was also amazing.

worn on the beach perhaps less so...worn round london apparently gets you some attention though.
i must have some.

i was stalling designated driver, mrs perou because i was having a good time.

and back at les and nicola's there were many baby-sitters to entertain the hordes of children.

it wasn't till 10pm that a delerious z walked downstairs and pleaded in a quiet trembling voice, right in my ear, 'please daddy, can we go home?'.

we said our swift goodbyes and carried sons to car where they were asleep before the engine was turning over.

love whitstable.
even though we only live half a mile from the coast, there's a massive difference in being able to look out of your window and see sea.
