maximum, in security light, at dusk

some of you might remember that i hurt my back a while ago and i was pretty disabled till i went skiing, self-medicating on a cocktail of multiple pain killers in february and weirdly fixed it.
i attribute this to the skiing on painkillers not the 6months of chiropractor.

last night i was running across the front lawn in half moon light, can of cider in one hand, laptop in the other and tripped over a scooter someone had left out.
ass over tit: smashed laptop (and worse of all, spilled my can of cider)
the bad back is back.
thrilled, i am (not).

today i have been retouching all day.
this is THE worst thing for my back, despite my 'back friendly' £1000 office chair, which i slouch at the edge of.

during the day, the smell of something dead rotting in the thatch has got worse and worse.
i know this because professor gunter von hagens told me once (during an autopsy of a reindeer) that humans only notice a change in smell.
therefore the dead thing must be actively rotting as i have smelt the smell, progressively strongly, all day.

today, will you join me in spending some thoughts on the homeless kids of britain?
it doesn't make any sense morally or economically to let kids in trouble, who don't want to be homeless become part of the hopeless, un-help-able homeless.
you may know i don't usually do charity appeals but i really think with a bit of effort this could be sorted out.
plenty of you reading this are creative minds.
i know there's SO much that needs fixing it's hard to know where to start...but this is literally right on our doorsteps.
(especially those of us in the UK)

and in my usually schizophrenic way...tomorrow i will mainly be photographing 'kelly rowland'
