a busy day at the office

bastard telecom came to reinstall the master socket (that i'd destroyed)...badly: leaving saying 'that's it: it's all working' and OF COURSE it wasn't

had an asbestos survey which did not go well: we've got a LOT of bad asbestos in the house: it'll cost thousands to remove and we haven't budgeted for it

the roofer came to make a small repair to other slates: now we'll be leak free.

the roof wasn't in bad condition actually

our favourite bank manager came with papers to sign for the £ we're borrowing

joe came to pull down the bathroom plasterboard ceiling that was half falling down and left looking like a black and white minstrel.

i continue to scratch off / peel black paper from the ballroom ceiling: slow work
